Key Responsibility And Accountability
- Leading and managing the Center Of Excellence team comprising of automation & devops engineers
- In Depth understanding of software delivery lifecycle and involved stages
- Evaluating new tools and technologies around test automation & devops
- Experience in working with microservices, browser, android & IOS applications
- Coordinating with different engineering teams to address areas of concerns and pain points
Skills and Competencies
- Must have 10+ years of combined experience in the area of development, automation and devops
- Should have demonstrated experience of leading DevOps transformation
- Must have some past experience in working with mobile applications from media/entertainment domain
- Must have some past experience in working with mobile applications with more than a million active users
- Must have experience in any one object oriented programming language ( preferably JAVA )
- Must have experience in mobile app automation ( Android / iOS )
- Must have experience in mobile automation frameworks ( Appium, Espresso, Cucumber )
- Must have exposure to non functional aspects like performance, reliability and usability of mobile applications
- Must have exposure to setting up and building inhouse device farms / labs
- Good to have exposure to developing Instrumentation tests for Android/iOS
- Good to have exposure to any other automation frameworks and working with any devops tools ( REST-assured, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef )
- Should be a highly self motivated individual
- Should have good communication and presentation skills
- Should be a good team player and mentor
- BE/B.Tech from a reputed engineering college
